Richard T. Bostwick serves as corporate counsel and manages the legal department. His departmental duties include the review of all contracts, risk management, compliance and the monitoring of regulatory affairs. Additionally, he provides legal advice to officers, directors, members of the executive team and others within the corporation.
Mr. Bostwick is a member of the Maryland bar and he has thirty years of legal experience. He has worked for a number of insurance companies, including Fidelity and Deposit Company and Travelers. He also served three years as in-house counsel for Montgomery Mutual Insurance Company in Sandy Spring, Maryland. Mr. Bostwick has extensive experience in the areas of contract review, bankruptcy, construction, surety, subrogation and claims.
He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A. History) and the University of Maryland School of Law. He is also a CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter). |
