Dr. Jones received his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado, Medical Center in Denver, Colorado and received his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his pathology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Jones joined Bostwick Laboratories in August of 2006. Before joining Bostwick Laboratories, Dr. Jones served as a pathologist for LabCorp Systems/DIANON and also spent time as a pathology consultant for Mt. Graham Hospital in Safford, Arizona. Before that, Dr. Jones was a pathologist for Sonora Quest and medical director for Metwest Tucson Stat Lab. In addition, Dr. Jones has served as director of medical gross anatomy department at Emory University and was also an assistant professor at Emory University.

Dr. Jones’ professional affiliations include membership in the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the College of American Pathologists and the American Medical Association. He is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
