Bostwick Laboratories, Inc., a full-service independent medical laboratory specializing in the interpretation of prostate and urological biopsies, has expanded its presence to the international market by opening a laboratory in London, England. The open house, held on February 9 th, 2005, was met with great success among the urological community in London.

"We are really excited to be able to bring this world leader in prostate cancer to the UK, where men's health has generally been very much neglected. We will offer a fast, accurate diagnostic service to urologists across the country," stated Karien Truernicht, Medical Director of the London office, at Monday’s open house.

Bostwick Laboratories, Inc., based in Richmond, Virginia, was founded in June of 1999 by Dr. David G. Bostwick, a world renowned pathologist in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Currently Bostwick Laboratories, Inc. receives tissue samples from thousands of urologists across the United States for processing and diagnosis. The move into Europe is indicative of the company’s commitment to physicians who are seeking a faster, more accurate means of diagnosing prostate cancer than has previously been available to British patients.
