Our Mission

Help physicians and patients make informed treatment decisions when faced with the diagnosis of cancer and other urologic diseases by providing the best in technical and scientific expertise. We focus on diagnosis of cancer of urologic organs (prostate, urinary bladder, kidney, and testis) with a special interest in Prostate Cancer.

Our mission is fulfilled by providing a reliable, accurate and prompt interpretation of outpatient biopsies. We offer complete histologic services, including tissue processing with routine and special stains. DNA ploidy analysis is offered on prostate biopsies with cancer. We also render second opinions on challenging cases referred to us by physicians and patients from around the world. Our laboratory is actively involved in clinical and basic research, continuing medical education of our pathology colleagues and patient education.
