Richard K. Cochran, M.D.

Dr. Richard K. Cochran received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. His education also includes a B.A. and M.A. in zoology (endocrinology) from Indiana University. He served his residency in pathology at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. Dr. Cochran has held several teaching appointments with Indiana University, the University of Michigan Medical School, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine and Youngstown State University.

Dr. Cochran’s professional affiliations include memberships with the College of American Pathologists, the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the Arizona Society of Pathologists. He has also served as state commissioner for the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (Northern OH).

Prior to joining Bostwick Laboratories in Phoenix, Dr. Cochran was a pathologist with Diagnostic Pathology of Phoenix/LabCorp and the director of clinical pathology and the medical director of the Blood Bank at Forum Health Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, OH.
