We provide specially designed Prostate Biopsy Kits free of charge in which to send your specimens to us. The shipping cost is paid by Bostwick Laboratories® The kit consists of a requisition form, specimen labels, pre-filled formalin jars in a cardboard box, and step-by-step instructions for use.

Results:

The specimens are processed the same day they are received. Results are available by fax usually within 24 hours of receiving the specimen, with rare exceptions. Occasional cases may require immunostains or other special stains delaying the result. Cases with cancer or any other features of clinical significance contain a color photomicrograph on the report.
